Senior team bolstered at EQTEC

EQTEC plc is delighted to announce that as part of its development and professionalisation in 2021, the leading sustainable waste-to-energy business is adding several key roles to its London-based corporate centre, starting with two key, senior positions.

Lisa Hancox joins as Head of Marketing & Communications to drive EQTEC’s marketing strategy and brand management, based on market research in the rapidly developing Cleantech sector, as well as leading all PR, social media, event management, stakeholder relations and investor relations. She will strongly contribute to refinement of EQTEC’s market propositions, positioning and go-to-market strategies. Lisa brings 20 years’ experience as a marketing and communications professional in technology, energy, sustainability and other B2B and B2C sectors. Amongst her several previous roles, she was the Head of Marketing Communications at OVO Energy, the independent energy business. Lisa is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM).

Joshua Payne joins as Head of Analytics to accelerate EQTEC’s development as a data- and commercial model-led company that builds and delivers compelling business cases for communities, investors and other stakeholders. In his role, Josh will lead EQTEC’s efforts with data management, business intelligence and financial modelling and support broader business planning and decision support. Joshua brings over a decade of experience in analytics and data engineering roles across the public and private sectors. He was Business Intelligence Manager at Babcock International Group and worked for the London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority. Josh is a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and The Chartered Institute for IT (BCS).

Jeff Vander Linden, Chief Operating Officer, commented: “The addition of Lisa and Josh to the EQTEC team is a big step forward for the business. As we look to build on our position as leaders in advanced gasification technology, their leadership in these two roles will push us further with establishing clear market positions based on well supported, commercial models. We are excited to work with both Lisa and Josh as we build the future of waste-to-energy through advanced gasification.”
