Our role: We are the project developer and provider of our gasification technology, working in a joint venture with Croatian project development partner, Sense ESCO at the site in Belišće, Croatia. We expect to be the O&M contractor.

Developments: The plant, previously commissioned in 2016, is progressing well, including:

  • Financial close has been achieved, in order to upgrade the design and an increase in capacity to 1.5MWe from the original 1.2MWe
  • A grid connection application will be made in the second half of 2021
  • The plant is expected to be updated, recommissioned and repowered for operations in H2 2022
  • The site will become a Market Development Centre (MDC), which will showcase our technology in a fully operational, commercial setting.
