The plant is expected to be adapted, recommissioned and repowered for operations towards the end of 2022

Background information: The site, located in the Industrial Zone Korana, in Karlovac, contains a plant which once originally employed an early gasification technology from a third party. The plant was not able to achieve the designed operational availability and had to be closed. When the plant has been adapted, contains our Advanced Gasification Technology and is commissioned, it will transform c.7,500 metric tonnes of locally sourced wood chips and forestry waste biomass per year from regional forests into green electricity for use by the local community as well as produce high quality biochar.
